Belton, Texas is the premier place to witness the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse, come enjoy the different events Belton has to offer leading up the the Total Solar Eclipse. 

The eclipse will be visible from 12:19 pm - 1:36 pm on Tuesday, April 8th. 

Overnight Camping will be available in Heritage Park starting Friday, April 5th: 

  • Park opens at 10 a.m. for overnight camping

Park Amenities include: 

  • 155 acres
  • Fishing Dock
  • Kayak Launch
  • Playground
  • Dog Park
  • Picnic Tables/Grills

NASA Ambassador

Take a journey to the stars with NASA Solar System Ambassador Liam Finn.

  • Yettie Polk Park, dusk, Friday, April 5.
  • Bell County Museum, 1 p.m., Saturday, April 6.

NASA Guest Speaker

Michigan resident Liam Finn has been a NASA Solar System Ambassador since 2017. He will be sharing live, in-person presentations about Astronomy.
