The Bell County Youth Fair is the largest county fair in the state of Texas. Thousands of students participate each year in the fair. There are also hundreds of volunteers yearly who freely give their time to make the event a success. The event is far-reaching and greatly impacts the lives of Bell County students.
The Bell County PRCA Rodeo is currently in its 33rd year of continuous operation at the Bell County Expo Center. This year's rodeo will be held on Feb. 12-13, 2021, in conjunction with the Bell County Youth Fair and all of the net proceeds from the Rodeo go to the youth fair board for distribution to the youth of Bell County.
In addition to point money provided by the Youth Fair Board, the Rodeo supports for qualifying students across Bell County. Last year, the Bell County Youth Fair awarded over $25,000 in scholarships to local area youth. These “life-changing” awards are the result of endless hours of planning and work by many volunteers who truly care about the youth of Bell County and strive to both teach and preserve the western culture that so dominates the landscape of the great State of Texas.
